I don't think I'm getting enough studying done. There are too many things that keep distracting me! Not that I really mind some of them.. but still. Doodling things all over my transfiguration notes instead of actually reading them probably isn't very productive. I need a study partner. Or maybe a few of them. A study group possibly. Is anyone interested? |

Has anyone seen my hot glue gun? I feel the need to glue sequins onto everything suddenly, and it's really difficult to do without a glue gun. I could use a spell but I need to keep myself distracted that's not as fun. I already sewed liners on the insides of all my jackets and vests... and re-hemmed all my skirts. I can fix other people's things if they need them!

I just need to stay busy. If I'm busy, I won't cry. And if I'm busy, maybe I'll stop thinking about seeing Joseph holding hands with Ceridwyn Boot at breakfast this morning. I feel sick just writing about it.. |

Well, this is rather interesting. I've definitely got an older body, but I'm also definitely still 17. Hmm. At least now I know that I age well! I wonder if classes will be odd, with so many of us looking as old as we do.
Do any of you people with older minds know me in the future? What am I like?? |

I honestly didn't notice anything different about my skirt today until everyone else started talking about it. No wonder those first year boys all looked so shocked when I accidently dropped my bag in front of them...
Anyway.. the Yule Ball posters are so pretty! I've got to find a dress.. although I should probably make sure someone asks me first. Hint, hint, Joseph. |

I've just been talking to the Beauxbaton's boy who's staying in Hufflepuff. Michel. He's very nice. I think he was grateful that I wasn't throwing myself at him like a lot of the other girls in school. His english wasn't very good and my french is incredibly horrible, but we managed to have a sort of decent conversation, between the two of us. He's a lovely boy, from what I can gather. No one scare him off too badly, alright?
The Scandalwitch survey was really entertaining, wasn't it? I got two comments! Although, Joseph.. I don't know if yours counts since you gave yourself away. Dunno who the other person was, but I'm flattered nonetheless. |

It's cold and I don't like it. There was a tiny bit of sun this morning, but it's gone now. I think I'll be hiding in bed if anyone needs me tonight.

Got my knickers back. But I don't think it was worth it. And then the day went rapidly spiraling downwards. And my shoes got ruined by moaning myrtle's hissy fit, because I just happened to be walking past when she decided to flood half the fifth floor. I needed a new pair at any rate.
Being optimistic isn't working today.
